In 2008, Will called Dave. “I need help with my computers,” he said, “and I heard you’re someone who can help with that.” Dave travelled to the overnight/day camp Will runs, and quickly got a few Macs and printers networked together.
A friendship was born.
Shortly thereafter, Will learned that Dave had a penchant for Dungeons & Dragons, and asked him to run a session for the kids at camp. He did, it went well (Dave quickly earned the nickname “D&D Dave”), and returned year after year to bring generations of kids into a world of story-telling fun.
A friendship was solidified.
In 2018, Will, Dave and a few friends were playing D&D at Dave’s kitchen table. Amid the dice, pencils, chips and soda, Will had an idea. We could do this for a living. Bring people together without screens. Foster fun, meaningful, shared experiences for people all over Cape Cod. Become a beacon for everyone who loves the hobby of tabletop games.
A business was born.
Today, Will and Dave are determined to create a welcoming space for everyone who loves to sit together, laugh, play, connect, smile and share something very tangible and very real via pencils, paper, meeple and game boards.
Unplug, play, connect!
